Privacy policy

This policy describes what PackerAI collects and why. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past, and it describes what the product actually does today.

What we collect

Account details. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — your name and profile picture as Google provides them. Email is how your account is identified.

Your catalog. Any box or SKU dimensions you save. These are private to your account.

Packing runs. The dimensions you submit and a summary of the result. We keep these so that support can reproduce a problem you report, and so we can show you your own usage against your monthly allowance.

Operational records. Standard server logs, and an audit record of security-relevant account actions such as sign-ins, password resets and email verification.

We do not collect payment card details. Nothing is charged during the beta and no payment method is requested.

What we do with it

We use it to run the product: to authenticate you, to store your catalog, to compute and display your packing plans, to enforce plan limits, and to answer support requests. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your dimensions or packing runs to advertise to you.

Processors we rely on

PackerAI runs on third-party infrastructure. The providers that may process your data on our behalf are our application hosts, our database provider, and our transactional email provider — used to send verification, password-reset and sign-in links. If you use the in-app AI assistant, the text of your message is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply; your catalog and packing history are not.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal details and archive your catalog. A minimal audit record is retained where we need it for security and integrity, with personal details removed.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to avi.asraf.mail@gmail.com and we will action it.

Cookies

We set a session cookie so that you stay signed in. It is required for the app to work and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects you, tell you by email.
